On the outside of the handle, and near the center, (in cursive writing), is the word Ford. On the inside of the handle, is embossed writing that reads: ALKER MFG. CO. RACINE, WIS. 215. Turned down as far as possible, the height is approximately 10".This jack is an old item that was used. It is rusty, has some pitting, has a minor crack where the front joins the base, the word Ford is very worn and difficult to see. Also I have doubts about the originality of the bolt attaching the handle to the main part of the jack. Now for the good news: It is complete. I do not have an early vehicle (to try it on), but it seems to work, has 0 chips and has 0 welds. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
