The important thing is that it doesn’t skip or distort when being played. - Adding to that, also make sure the tone arm on your turntable is properly balanced & your cartridge is adjusted. A little tedious, but it’ll save your stylus and records from damage so you can enjoy them forever-ish. YouTube is your friend when it comes to most things vinyl! There are some great, informative channels out there so you’ll have no trouble finding a favorite.
