Anything your horse can do in shoes, your horse should be able to do in Cavallo Sport Boots (and maybe more!). When using Cavallo Hoof Boots for the first time, it's a good idea to also use the Cavallo Pastern Wrap (sold separately). The Pastern Wraps help protect against rubbing that could occur when the boots are first used; some horses get used to wearing hoof boots very quickly and won't need the pastern wraps forever, but some horses will always be more comfortable wearing the wraps. Just be sure to break the boot in gradually - no 3 hour trail rides the first time you put them on! The Size Chart will help you figure out which boots will fit your horse best. The "Original" Boot is the Sport Slim for horses with a narrower hoof. The "Regular" boot is the rounder Sport for hooves that are the same width as length.
