Description: For the true C.B. aficionado, offered here is what is likely the earliest known surviving original one-off work by C.B. This pen and ink drawing is C.B.'s interpretation of The Wandering Jew and was executed by him in 1902 at the young age of 14. The vast majority of C.B.'s pre-1906 artistic output was destroyed during the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. A cut of this drawing is illustrated at the bottom left of page 12 in The Art of Chesley Bonestell, by Frederick C. Durant III and Ron Miller, Paper Tiger, 2001. The drawing measures: 11.75 H inches x 8.75 W inches. The frame measures: 23.25 H x 20.25 W inches. It is being sold AS-IS. Any questions, please ask.
