Description: Part No. CV6673X Purchased the 66-67 Chevelle Kit from Stainless Works, but only needed the tail pipes, mufflers and mid pipes (you cannot buy these components separately, I tried, but was required to buy the complete system). The crossover forward went a different direction in my set-up. This partial kit includes all items in the photos, including 2 sleeves of 304 stainless (made by me) that fit around the 3" pipe to join a rear extension if not butt welding. The ball and socket is secured by the provided stainless flanges and hardware and allow for some adjustment in the alignment so meeting header collectors is all but assured. The ball and socket are well made. The manufacturer site says that this kit is for a 66-67 Chevelle. However, these should also fit 68-72 Chevelle and other later A-bodies. Oh, and these polish up pretty easy. The components are made from 304 stainless, tig welded in the USA, and designed to fit aftermarket headers. See my other listing for the rear exhaust hangars.
