Description: THE CHICAGO and NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY ENAMEL ON METAL POCKET WATCH FOB WITH LEATHER STRAP - "A Classic Issue" - NEW OLD STOCK The Chicago and North Western Railway, was chartered on June 7, 1859 and became one of the longest railroads in the United States as a result of mergers with other railroads. This Impressive Enameled Watch FOB and Leather Strap was found in the basement of a craftsman & collector who died in 1985, along with his other untouched collectibles and creations. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with some light wear despite being crafted and stored before 1985. A wonderful gift or addition for any RR Collector. ***PLEASE NOTE***: THERE APPEARS TO BE DARK TARNISHING ON THE FOB EDGES IN SOME PHOTOS. THEY ARE ACTUALLY SHADOWS ON THE SILVER EDGING. We try to provide different angle photos of the FOB/Medallion for you to see the reflective elements in the design. If we didn’t, shadows appear from the lighting when photographing and can look like product defects, which you will see in some of the photo angles. We clean and rigorously inspect the products we sell, but there may be some minor flaws we sometimes miss. Because of that I try to provide as many high quality photos for my customers to make the best informed decision for their purchase. The FOB in the photos is the one you will receive. Please refer to the photos as the final authority in evaluating the condition and quality of the product. Check out our store for other FOBs and Railroad Collectibles. Combined shipping available.
