Description: Chinese white tea "Gu Shu Bai Hao" from Yunnan province (price per 100 g) Connoisseurs of puers (especially shengs fans) may guess about the origin of this tea from the name. And indeed, it was harvested from old tea trees the same that used as tea raw source for production of puers! Larger buds from these trees more fleshy than those that harvest in the Fuding county for production of local white tea. But for the rest - in appearance it is similar to "Bai Hao Yin Zhen" for example. Smell of the infusion is a bit like the sheng. Taste: quite light, slightly glandular with floral shade, one might be compared with birch sap, although there is no sweetness in it.
