The 1009B transformer is Cir-Kit's largest transformer. It powers up to 64 12-volt bulbs (not fixtures, bulbs), with no minimum load recommendation. Transformer plugs into a standard wall outlet (USA). Screw-lug terminals on the back accept spade ends of all "Cir-Kit" brand 1008 series "Lead-in Wires". Transformer is circuit-breaker protected. That means if you have or develop a short in your electrical system, the transformer will click off rather than allow an overload to fry your fixtures, which is a good thing. (Note: If you plug in your dollhouse and it lights for a second, then you hear a "click" and all the lights go out at once, that is your "Cir-Kit" transformer doing its job. The problem is a short in your wiring, not your transformer.)
