Description: Up for sale is a nice decorative circa 1850 Victor Levasseur map of the Department L'Aisne. Nice regional map from the National Illustre atlas. Great antique map showing this district along with significant information about those from the district and with a description of the areas general production. This original map is guaranteed to be from around 1850. Either a few years earlier or later depending on publication which is not obvious based on the map. It measures approximately 12 x 17 inches. From the National Ilustre atlas that showed all the French districts. Nice condition are ready to be framed. No significant condition issues. Light browning, some small creases and tears to boarder areas not impacting the actual map. Antique handwritten page number. Other small dings here and there. In generally nice shape.
