You will need an item to circuit bend, hookup wire, basic hand tools and basic soldering skills to use these components in your circuit bending project, these are also NOT included. These components work especially well with the Speak and Spell, Speak and Math, Speak and Read and Casio keyboards as well as other circuit bendable electronics. Description of Kit/Components in Listing:Circuit bending components/kit. Basic component kit to get started in circuit bending your favorite vintage toy or keyboard. Great for Speak and Spell, Speak and Math, Speak and Read, Casio keyboards or other electronic toys/devices.NOTE: All mounting hardware is included on toggle/pushbutton switches, 1/4" jack, LED mount and body contact. All components are New.1 - Linear Potentiometer. Typically used for adjusting pitch up or down NOTE: The current potentiometer has solder lugs for easier wire hookup/soldering.2 - Small Trimmer Potentiometers - Typically used with pitch potentiometer allow full range of pitch knob without crashing circuit bent unit (prevents resistance from going to zero)1 - Pitch Knob, fits 1/4" shaft of included pitch potentiometer. NOTE: Pitch knob may vary from the one pictured depending on what I have in stock. This knob will be NEW and always have brass insert and a set screw for maximum compatibility with various 1/4"/6.3mm potentiometer shafts (Split-Knurled, Solid Round, Solid D, Solid 1/2 moon).1 - Volume Potentiometer. Typically used for adding volume control to Speak and Spell/other devices with no volume control or "voltage starving" bends and glitches. 1 - Volume Knob, fits 1/4" shaft of included volume potentiometer. NOTE: Volume knob may vary from the one pictured depending on what I have in stock. This knob will be NEW and always have brass insert and a set screw for maximum compatibility with various 1/4"/6.3mm potentiometer shafts (Split-Knurled, Solid Round, Solid D, Solid 1/2 moon).3 - Mini 2-position SPDT Toggle Switches (ON/ON or ON/OFF) with Solder eyelet lugs. Typically used for setting/switching on "Glitches". Can set two separate glitches from each switch. Can have connections on each position. (toggle switch may vary slightly in appearance from photo, but will have the same functionality)1 - Mini SPDT 3 position Toggle switch (ON/OFF/ON) with Solder eyelet lugs. Typically used for locking in loops, glitches or turning pitch potentiometer On and Off (for interesting pitch effects - example - ON high pitch/OFF normal pitch/ON low pitch). (toggle switch may vary slightly in appearance from photo, but will have the same functionality)1 - Sub-Mini SPDT 2 position Toggle switch (ON/ON or ON/OFF) with Solder eyelet lugs. Typically used with pushbutton (N.O. Red) to lock in loops. (toggle switch may vary slightly in appearance from photo, but will have the same functionality)1 - Normally Open (N.O. Red) Momentary Pushbutton. Typically used for sampling loops1 - Normally Closed (N.C. Black) Momentary Pushbutton. Typically used for reset button (interrupts power from batteries for hard reset)1 - Brass Body Contact. Typically used to lower pitch by touching/tapping. Used to create tremolo effect.3 - LEDs (Size T 3/4 / 5mm) 1 Red LED, 1 Green LED, 1 Red/Green/Blue (RGB) fading and color mixing. Typically used for power indicator light or beat/output signal follower (flash to the glitch and/or loop)4 - Limiting Resistors for LEDs Typically used limit input current to the LED.1 - Chrome LED mount/holder for T 3/4 / 5mm LED. Panel mount hardware for included LEDs (or your own LED)1 - Light Sensitive CDS cell. Typically used for varying pitch or volume with amount of light. Can be used to create Theremin type effect.1 - 1/4" Output Jack. High Quality REAN (by Neutrik AG) Jack. with solder lugs. Typically used to accept a standard TRS type audio plug for your circuit bent device to run through an amp, effects processor or recording samples to your computer or Casio SK-1 :-) Can leave in speaker in bent device, can hook up jack so when plugged into external amp, internal speaker is disconnected.2 - Alligator clips jumper wires - Typically used to test bends before soldering or searching for new bends.
