If it is determined that the unit is not functioning due to a manufacturing defect, a replacement part will be sent free of charge up to 1 year from date of shipment of the unit**In order to install this unit properly, a vacuum pump, a vacuum gauge and a valve between the pump and the gauge, a hose to connect the vacuum pump and service port on the low side (larger pipe side) are needed to get rid of air and more important, moisture out of high and low side copper pipes and the evaporator inside of the indoor unit before opening the 2 valves at the outdoor unit. This is why warranty is only valid if a HVAC installer installed the unit.**NOTE: These mini split heat pumps are intended to be used as a secondary heat source ONLY.
