Description: COBI Kübelwagen Personenkraftwagen Typ 82 #2803 Now you can become the owner of the iconic German off-road car Kübelwagen TYP 82 in a version made of COBI construction blocks! This is our first WWII large scale 1:12 vehicle. It was designed based on a museum piece located in the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster (Germany). It's huge, VERY detailed, and looks downright impressive when paired with the upcoming even bigger legendary Tiger 131 from The Tank Museum! With 1,326 pieces and generous dimensions, this set (#2803) is in a class of its own. When completed the Kübelwagen is 30.5cm long. Attention is drawn to the carefully reproduced interior, excellent external design and completely new elements designed specifically for the needs of such a large set. The interior of the car is detailed in every way, including the steering wheel, seats, knobs, switches and engine compartment containing additional tools! The exterior also raises the bar in terms of the accuracy of proportions and detail that only a set of this size can deliver. This includes an exclusive window, opening doors, access to the trunk and engine compartment, equipment elements and turning wheels that can be moved with the steering wheel. Our 1:28 scale models are considered very detailed. However, it is the 1:12 scale and 1530 elements that allow us to show the true capabilities of the COBI construction block system. The Kübelwagen represents a new level of design, photorealism, impressive size and precision. In this case, the number of blocks definitely matters! The Kübelwagen TYP 82 set was developed in cooperation with the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster (Germany). We hope that both collectors and fans of COBI will have as much fun building and displaying this car as we had designing and creating it. For all those who love militaria, military technology and history, this is an opportunity to bring home a BIG piece of the story. Build history, piece by piece, with COBI!The Kübelwagen Type 82 was a German military off-road vehicle produced during World War II. It was created as a response to the Wehrmacht's need for an easy-to-maintain, economical and reliable vehicle for use on a variety of terrain. In the period 1940-1945, more than 50,000 of these vehicles were produced. It was mainly employed as an all-terrain, transport, sanitary and reconnaissance vehicle and as a platform for mounting light weapons. After World War II, some of the surviving Kübelwagens continued to be used by various countries as well as being used as civilian vehicles. Thanks to its functionality, lightness and reliability, the Kübelwagen has become a classic symbol of an off-road vehicle and is still valued by motoring enthusiasts around the world. 1326 high-quality elements Manufactured in the EU by a company with over 20 years of tradition The blocks meet the safety standards of products for children Fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks Blocks with prints do not scratch or smear and do not fade during play or under the influence of temperature Clear and intuitive instructions based on illustrations and step-by-step directions 100% prints, no stickers Dedicated elements Realistic appearance Many hours of building Access to the interior Working steering wheel and swivel wheels Model developed in cooperation with the Deutsches Panzermuseum Münster Large scale 1:12 Model dimensions (L x W x H): 30.5 cm (12.1") x 14 cm (5.51") 12 cm (4.72") COBI Kübelwagen Personenkraftwagen Typ 82 #2803 Now you can become the owner of the iconic German off-road car Kübelwagen TYP 82 in a version made of COBI construction blocks!
