This is a beautiful, high quality porcelain ceramic bust, as only Royal Doulton can produce. Great, bright full colors all over and a great looking toby!! One of the most classic and earliest tobys, depicting the famous, historic British Royal guard. Identified on bottom is "Beefeater", and the 1949 copyright date. This was part of a large SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT estate collection I just acquired. In excellent condition. PARTICULARLY NICE BRIGHT, NATURAL COLORS, and beautiful detail in face and clothes. The quality of the facial details are especially impressive.This measure almost 4" high.
