The inlays are chunky and deeply rutted stag bone burned to a rich dark honey color fastened three times w/no cracks or chipping, front inlay features the COLT logo prancing horse medallion inscribed w/“175th,” they meet up with slanted, incised and pinched mirror polished bolsters, front, tang-end bolster is deeply imprinted with the stylized COLT capital “C” with its spurred extensions and serif on top. The fit and finish, the tight slip-joint mechanism and open and close snap easily rival custom knife making-knife exhibits no manufacturing shortcuts, none.
