Commodore Amiga A4000D Computer + CyberStorm MK II 060 and More

Description: Amiga A4000D + CS MK II 060, HDMI RTG, Recapped motherboard, working RTC, 146 MB total fast RAM · A4000D recapped, full 16 MB on board RAM, a Super Buster 11, with new metal RAM clips, PIO-2 GALS, replaced and working RTC clock (coin cell), AmigaOS 3.2.2 ROMs. · Inside is a 128 MB RAM, Cyberstorm MK II 68060 with original CPU (MMU & FPU) and crystal, but in the past had tested at 66 MHz with that crystal included, as are copies of the original disks. · An unopened, unregistered OS 3.2 CD is part of the sale · A 60 GB Kingston 2.5” SSD (not a CF card), DVD R/W drive, Amiga HD (1.76 MB) floppy, and a Gotek fills out the front. · An MNT VA2000 RTG card with HDMI output occupies the lowest slot, · Next slot up is a re-A4091 SCSI card with original accessories · In the top slot is an A2065 Ethernet card (I have misplaced the AUI adapter, so this card is not fully tested, it shows up as working in ShowConfig - see provided photo). · The keyboard lock is functional, and the keys are supplied; they should be stored safely away as when the lock is engaged, mouse and keyboard will fail to function · The included A4000 keyboard fully works. · Amiga Test Kit was used to test all areas (including the keyboard, and the Serial/Parallel ports with test dongles) · While an original mouse is included, the substitute of a wireless, ergonomic, scroll mouse is an option for the buyer, if I am notified prior to closing the shipping container. · Lastly, a 4 GB thumb drive of booklets, articles and manuals is included to help with the software’s use. These may be accessed and reviewed or printed from a capable device. Storage: · Solid state drive has a full complement of OS, productivity, office, and WHDload games. · System Partition – contains the Amiga OS 3.2.2.1 installation plus various tools, utilities, devices and useful day-to-day programs · Work Partition – holds a plethora of graphics, music, and office software, as well as, various programming languages. · WHDs Partition – lists in alphabetic drawers around 6.5 GB of games (from the Web), a couple of launchers, etc. · Storage – has copies of all the system software back to OS 3.1 up to the most current updates (3.2.2.1) of the AmigaOS. Disk images and downloads are stored there, with an Icon and Image selection useful for desktop work. The AmigaOS's registration code in adhered to the cellophane on the back side, and should not be discarded until after registration. Video Output options: This Amiga has NTSC output, screenshots were taken on a NTSC (Dell U2410) monitor, and the WHDload preferences has been set to NTSC to adjust the screen for game play. This means PAL games stored on the 6.5 GB WHDload partition should display properly (not all games were vetted with the included kickstarts) 23-pin Amiga Video-to-VGA adapter with VLR (vertical Line Remover) makes it ready to connect to a 15 kHz monitor – all screenshots were done connected to an NTSC Dell U2410F monitor (not included). The RTG board outputs an HDMI signal for the desktop/Workbench, but games will tend to open on the native Amiga hardware; hence, a Dual Input 15K (Retro) monitor, such as the Dell U2410F monitor used for my vintage & modern computer equipment is ideal. They can be found on this site for a reasonable cost. ModePro is active in changing from one screen mode to another as needed, should a program open in an odd (usually PAL) screen. *Please ask questions before considering this (or any) purchase; after a sale I can provide thorough help, assistance, and recommendations from my 37 years of Amiga ownership (50 years of computer experience), refurbishment and use, if asked. I consider this as a service provided with the purchase of this Amiga. Should you experience any issues, contact me via, "Ask a Question."Box Weight: 34 Lbs, Size 21 x 20 x 12 inches. Keyboard may ship separately if the distance is far from me.EBay does not provide for shipping insurance, so it is provided at my cost, I do not hike up shipping costs for profit Standard eBay Disclaimer: This is a refurbished A4000 from 32 years ago; it has been restored to work, but may have flaws, blemishes, DIY 3D parts and other non-original items. These computers are no longer in production and parts may be impossible to locate at reasonable prices, hence, it is sold “as is.” This case is not new, please look closely at the supplied photos, as I cannot guarantee there are not unseen issues. Absolutely every part was neither photographed nor tested ad nauseam to guarantee it works to your satisfaction. This is refurbished to the buyer's expectation; I cannot state that it will do anything more. It should function with proper handling and care for the time being. See Screenshots of testing. Any parts cleaned of yellowing (often keycaps), have had an “archival” UV protection coating applied (the same used in art galleries) to best protect the 30-year-old plastic underneath from immediate light and heat induced aging. Please keep this A4000 in a cool, dry location, without direct sun exposure. Please do not purchase if you do not understand this, and that my 4K photos uploaded to this site, may be reduced in quality by the hosting server and/or shown at lower resolutions, blurred or with flaws not visible on your monitor. Your monitor resolution and quality are not my fault. The 23-pin Amiga to VGA VLR adapter was constructed from a PCB from Pcbway; the new capacitors are from Mouser and I use Chris Edwards method of replacement. Please feel free to contact me before or after purchase, I will try to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. I try to put together a package from the wall socket to modern monitor, despite reliance on modern parts. I do not leave buyers' "high and dry" after sales. Likewise, I will do what I can to make a difficult situation better. In case of shipping damage, please take photos of the box and all damage, and contact me as well as the shipping company. I obtain shipping insurance beyond what eBay and the carriers say they offer, and these photos help me recover the funds to correct the sale to the buyer.
