Description: Vintage Frank Patania Sr. 1899-1964 This concho belt is by silversmith and artisan Frank Patania. He was an artisan from the age of 6! Fabulous story about him on line. Classic design with 10 handcrafted sterling conchos and the last one having the neccessary hook to go into the leather band. Very straightforward look and would style well with any attire. Check out photos for more description and detail. This work is rare and you won't find it very often. "A rare find" Stamped and encised FP Sterling Based on the mark... this is Frank Patania Sr. Circa 1940's His markings varied and changed a few times and his son used the FP mark as well only with a dash_ after FP. This piece clearly does not show the dash so it is crafted by Sr. Size: Concho belt measures 42 inches from end to end. One inch width. The conchos measure 2 1/4 inch long by 1 1/2 inches wide. The buckle measures 2 5/8 in length. Condition: Great for its age, normal wear. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. Thanks for looking!
