CONTEMPORARY SCOTT GAMBLE SIGNED STUDIO ART GLASS VASE HAND BLOWN 9 1/2" PURPLE

Description: This listing is for an extraordinary piece of contemporary art glass: a hand-blown vase by renowned artist Scott Gamble of Method Glassworks near Denver, Colorado. Gamble is a talented young man who has exploded onto the art glass scene, specializing in hand blown and hot sculpted glass, with a sand etched and acid polished surface. This piece is signed on the bottom. Offered here is one of his vases with a subtle purple and orange swirl pattern with a subtle iridescence and a satiny finish that is incredibly smooth at the same time. Stands 9 1/2" tall. Diameter of base is 2". Diameter of top opening (including lip) is a mere 1 inch. Diameter of widest part of the belly is hard to measure, but it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 1/2". Exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, or unusual wear. The only factor to note are a few minor surface scratches on the bottom from sliding around on table tops. See close up photo.
