Continental Currency Fr#CC-17 November 29, 1775 $7 PMG 45

Description: The November 29, 1775 Continental issue was redeemable for Spanish milled dollars. This $7 note features an emblem of a severe storm at sea. This emblem is encircled by the latin motto “SERENABIT” (It will be calm). The reverse features nature print of buttercup leaf. Nice XF example for the price. PMG notes stains but I do not agree with this comment. This looks more like natural coloration for a note of this age. Signers: John Ord, … Date: November 29, 1775 Denomination: $7 Friedberg #: CC-17 State: Continental Certification: PMG Grade: 45 Comments: “Stained”
