Description: Contraves dual motion axis rate table 57Cd-2/30H TEST VIDEO This listing is for a Contraves / Carco dual axis rate table. The specimen rate table spins in the azimuth and tilt axis all while being temperature controlled. A separate control console houses the control modules. This is an older system but it was upgraded a few times with the most recent being in 2013. This unit features a very elaborate slip-ring system to allow hundreds of circuits to be tested while the table is rotating. We applied power directly to both axis motors and both axis turned very smoothly as can be seen in the test video. We applied power to the control consule but the MPACs controller did not power up. The power supply in the rear of the MPACs controller does not work. Since the control system is older and obsolete, a user of this system would most likely upgrade the controllers anyway, working or not. The value of this system is in the rate table and hardware, which has been proven to work during our tests.
