Description: This is a very cool, highly collectible, vintage rooster fence post cap. An advertising piece for the Cox Fence Co. in Dallas, Texas, it features a rooster on the top of the cap. Cast iron metal cap is marked "Cox Fence" on one side with the number CT-5 on the other side. His comb on one side shows a spot of silver (see pic 1). He measures 5" tall by 2½” in diameter and weighs 14.4 ounces before packing.
