We cannot and do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds once your order has been placed – all sales are final. Cancellations and/or changes after you have submitted your order are generally not accepted, but in the unlikely event that you need to make changes, we will do our best to accommodate these. But please let us know immediately. • The exact size of your last name as well as its spacing within the design will depend on the number of letters in the name. We can accommodate a maximum of 9 letters in the last name, more than that will probably not look great within the plaque. We will center align your surname in the plaque and do our best with spacing to ensure the design looks great. When ordering, please let us know if you would prefer to receive a PROOF before your design goes into production (note that if you choose this option, it will add a bit of a delay to the processing of your order). If no proof is specified, we will assume you don’t want that and will just send your order directly into production. • For your convenience, mounting holes are automatically added to the corners of the sign. Please note that YOUR PURCHASE DOES NOT INCLUDE MOUNTING HARDWARE – HOOKS, SCREWS, CLIPS, NAILS, BRACKETS, FASTENERS, ETC. – JUST THE METAL SIGN ITSELF – THOSE ITEMS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. If you would prefer no mounting holes or for them to be a very specific size (or position), please let us know with a note to seller at checkout. If you do not provide any direction regarding mounting holes and are unsatisfied with them upon receiving the product, unfortunately at that point there will be nothing we can do as the holes would have already been cut. • No two metal signs will look exactly the same. Made with raw metal, each sign will inherently have its own unique rustic or industrial character and look. The sign may include minor imperfections such as markings, scratches, gouges, light spots, etc. Due to different monitors and settings, actual colors may also vary slightly to what you see on screen. • MOUNTING DO'S AND DON'TS: It is your responsibility to ensure your metal sign is securely anchored into the desired surface. Before attempting mounting, make sure you have the needed hardware to properly secure it and ensure it is supported for its size, weight and the conditions within which it will be displayed. For mounting on brick, stucco and stone, you can use a masonry drill bit along with screws with a plastic sleeve. For mounting on vinyl siding, a good option is no-hole vinyl siding clips. A mounting hook can be used for extra support if needed. With all that said, the responsibility for properly mounting your sign is on you. • CARE AND MAINTENANCE: With its baked-on powder-coated finish, in normal outdoor conditions your sign should resist rust for years (the powder coating creates a barrier to protect against many different types of corrosion, including rust). However, certain climates or conditions may require additional care and maintenance. This metal sign will rust when exposed to humidity and moisture, developing its own character over time. When mounting your metal sign outside, be sure it is kept away from any harsh chemicals, chlorine, or a saltwater pool (we’ve seen these conditions cause metal signs to rust quickly). Additionally, if you live in an area with extreme sun or salty air, you could try applying a clearcoat for added protection of the metal surface. It is also recommended to bring the metal sign indoors during extreme weather conditions such as storms or severe rain. PROCESSING/PRODUCTION TIME: Our signs are manufactured on a print on demand basis, meaning we only produce your item once a purchase is completed. We typically need 3-5 business days for your item/s to be produced. An expedited fulfillment option is available for the metal signs with an additional $5 fee. Fulfillment under this expedited option can be expected to take no more than 2-3 business days. SHIPPING: Shipping is to the continental US only. If ordering from Alaska or Hawaii (or outside the US), please contact us directly for a shipping quote before placing an order. Shipping within the continental US can take from 4-7 business days, depending on your location (our metal signs are shipped from Louisiana). We may use Fedex or USPS priority mail. Shipping from UK to the UK, CA to CA, and AU to AU is an additional 5-10 business days. Beyond those countries, international shipping can take 3-5 weeks. A tracking number will be included in an email which will be sent to you when your order has been shipped. Please note that shipping times are in addition to processing times above. If a package goes undelivered due to an incorrect address or is returned to us for any reason, unfortunately the customer will be responsible for covering the cost of shipping out the product again. CANCELLATIONS: In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your order, please message us right away (please submit a cancellation request within 1 hour of purchase). If production has already begun, unfortunately a cancellation will not be possible. RETURNS & EXCHANGES: Our metal signs are print on demand products and each one is custom-made.
