On the back, there is a hinged lid with a wind closure. Pointed top has ball finial. There is an engraved inscription "1892-1942 Mr & Mrs B. Waxman" on the base. This amazing box is 2 1/8" in diameter, body is 1 1/2" tall, and the full length is 8". It weighs 93.8 grams or 3.02 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
