Description: Used for one winter season and wow - did it attract the deer! Fed them as guests in my backyard but discovered that when the feeder was empty in the spring through fall that they instead ate many of my nice plants . . . so, had to give up feeding them. Intelligent design minimizes corn waste / spilling onto the ground. Easy fill from top with pins as shown to secure the lid; takes just a few seconds to pour half of a 50 lb bag of corn into the feeder. Requires a pipe (or electrical conduit as shown) recommended to be fixated into the ground; I used a 3/4" x 10" pipe nipple as a sleeve, embedded it in a bag of concrete, flush with the ground, to keep the feeder stable, then removed the feeder and conduit from its sleeve in the off-season. The conduit shown in the picture does NOT come with the feeder; you will need to supply it.
