Description: Definitive Technology speakers manufactured in Baltimore, MD while audio legend Sandy Gross controlled the company are super sleepers. One of the original founders of Polk Audio in 1972, Sandy left Polk in 1988 to start Definitive Technology. The bp-2004 was produced in the Baltimore facility from 1997-1999 and are a powered three way bi-polar tower speaker with a 10" side firing woofer powered by a 125 W amplifier, 5.25" midrange driver and 1" aluminum dome tweeter. The mid and tweeter are placed at ear level and they will perform differently according to placement. They are an 8 OHM speaker with a 20-250 W RMS power rating. The dimensions are 40.25" H X 7.25" W X 11.5" D and weigh 58 LBS. each. They are a one owner speaker purchased in 1998 in excellent cosmetic condition.
