Description: The M503 TS Series are responsive and easy blowing horns that feature a single piece valve piston casings and a new valve guide system for superior performance. The M503 Series are designed for outstanding intonation plus heavy-duty bracing for reliable performance on the marching field. Great fast GETZEN Valves. It has this tune on the go system that I don’t see the need for. It will ship with the trumpet if you want to use it. Compression is fantastic and all the slides work as designed; smoooth! This is an attractive trumpet with a great sound. Was $1200 when new It has dings and ripples on the bell and was pro repaired years ago. You can only see any of this from up close and it shows very reasonably but you are not getting the finest cosmetically perfect Trumpet that is something you should know, but it is a great player with Fantastic Core and easy high Range. You can actually feel the bell better than you can see it. It has some lacquer loss on the Silver but, little wear through to brass. If you see spots on the Trumpet that look grayish it is because for some reason they put lacquer over the silver and I have tried to get rid of most of it with lacquer thinner and elbow grease but any of the grayish areas is because that lacquer is compromised. They did that on some of the beautiful king sterling silver Cornets back in the day and I could never figure out why?. It is nice and solid and built like a tank which may be the reason it plays with such a terrific Core. A Big fat sound I get using a commercial high velocity mouthpiece. I just got done cleaning it and it has fresh lube and the Yamaha valve oil on the valves. It is ready to play right out of the box if you are looking for a perfect looking Trumpet this one is not for you but if you need a player that looks pretty decent. This is a great horn and I can’t believe I’m selling it so cheaply, but I like giving people deals as I got one myself.. OK I forgot to mention that one of the valve tops is different You won’t get a better deal on a player of a horn! Trumpet shipped without a case or mouthpiece.
