Description: This extremely early 1746 Delaware note served the purpose of funding the loan office. The front of this note features the English Arms and borders cut by Thomas Leech. Interestingly, where Delaware notes from 1753 and later are printed by Franklin and Hall, these 1746 notes were printed by Benjamin Franklin alone. Although this example has been backed, the front has fantastic detail for this early issue. Fantastic note for the price.
