Denmark's Temperance Association takes the association no part in religious or partisan political activities," Design depicts a youth holding a flag with the legend "Lys Over Landet" which translates literally to "Light Over the Country" but probably refers to a type of enlightenment. The phrase was coined by author Jens P. Jacobsen, and has been used for many purposes. The poster stamp was published by Dansk Kunstforlag of København (Copenhagen) and is their Samlermærke Nº1064. The stamp is listed by Hartvigsen as #1914.46. The artist is unknown, but there is a small "OH" at the lower right corner of the image portion. There is no backprint. Stamp is F/VF, OG, NH.
