Description: This listing for a sample of partially processed, unsorted diatomite (the exact details are in the listing title). Each sample has been soaked in hot water and then put through 10 freeze thaw cycles to break it down. Further work is needed to properly break down the samples to free and clean the diatoms. We have not done chemical prep on the samples (i.e no HCl treatment) and additional cycles will probably be useful, as could be some minor maceration.
