Description: A beautiful antique Art Deco 22K gold scrolling floral wedding band ring, made by Samuel Hope in 1925. This finely made solid rich 22K yellow gold wedding band would have been made for a person that wanted a wedding ring that was a little more special and different than the plain band option! The ring has a gently curving D shape band, the center with fabulous carved floral scrolling decorations with gently hammered milgrain patterns on both edges creating a wonderful gleaming floral feast for the eyes! The ring has full English hallmarks with maker 'SH' for the famous Birmingham wedding ring maker Samuel Hope of Vyse Street who operated from 1903 to 1925, the crown for gold, '22', the Birmingham anchor and date letter 'A' for 1925. The ring tests for 22K gold. The ring is approximately a size 8 3/4. The band is about 5.5mm wide and the ring rises approximately 1.5mm above the finger.
