Description: Doulton Lambeth - Very Rare Pair of Fine Detail Antique Mark V Marshall designed Stoneware Brown Bear Salt & Pepper pots c.1878 - salt pot moulded with hinged silver cover. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham - I *think* the silver maker is John Grinsell & Sons.measure **approx. 7 to 7.5cm high**. Embossed Doulton Lambeth mark to base of salt with number 2847. Very Good Antique Condition - pepper missing the stopper to base, silver tarnished, lid slightly strained. Ear tips seem lighter in colour but feel fine and are glazed.
