Description: This is a nice Drake R-4A HF Communications Receiver. Operating modes are LSB, USB, AM, and CW. Runs off of standard 120 VAC line power. Seems to work fine on all bands. All functions and controls appear to work as they should. Cosmetically, I'd rate it at an 8 out of 10. The cabinet, front panel and controls are in good condition Copper chassis has normal tarnish and pitting. It has two optional band crystals in the rear - for covering 160 and 11 meters. This auction includes the receiver only, no other accessories or operating manual are included. Since this is a 60+ year old unit, it is being sold "AS IS". The receiver will be shipped via FedEx Ground for actual shipping costs which I'd estimate to run between $20 - $45 in the ConUS depending on the buyer's location. Thanks for looking!
