Description: This is an old Dreis & Krumo steel slitting shear from an old industrial warehouse in Milwaukee, Wi that was long ago replaced with “modern” machinery. This old guy has been in the corner collecting dust and needs a new home. The handle pivot bolts are a little sloppy and there’s an old “fix” welded to the base to provide a support for the static blade likely due to breaking bolts on heavier gauge steel being cut. The dynamic blade has a good gouge in it shown in the photos (see my dirty finger pointing at it). If someone loves this-it’ll certainly be a great and simple workhorse in your shop or “office”. Overall a cool and simple metal shear that would stand to be treated to some health TLC if you can spare it. Photos show exactly what you’re buying and will receive.
