Description: This upgrade of dynaco st 35 amplifier with original output transformers and all new circuit boards, chassis, power transformer, coupling caps, resistors. Made from parks audio amplifier kit and D Gillespie Designs capacitor board kit. Circuit is similar to original Dynaco St 35 with individual cathode resistors. Coupling caps are Clarity Caps. Power supply is from D Gillespie Designs, converting to "Enhanced Fixed Bias". This is superior to Dynaco's original design. The output transformers are Dynaco's original. It is said that these are the best sounding of Dynaco's opts. The power transformer is new and does not get as hot as the original. The chassis is stainless steel which is not magnetic and is the best for sound. Output is with 5 way binding posts. In put is gold plated rca. 8 ohm & 16 ohm output as original. The circuit uses 12ax7 and 12au7 in place of Dynaco's single tube for better control. Collectable tubes: Telefunken 12ax7 and amperex 12au7. There is a separate switch for soft start. There is no cage over the tubes. The included tubes are little used and a new set of electro- Harmonix El 84s are included. Power output is about 17 watts from 10hz-40000hz. All manuals and original Dynaco manual is included. Cost was no object in my making of this beautiful amplifier. This amplifier was made by me who is a "tech". I am only selling because I am getting old and it is far better than my aging ears.
