Eames "La Fonda" by Alexander Girard Herman Miller Chair

Description: Up for auction is a Eames "La Fonda" chair in black naugahyde leather, parchment fiberglass shell with H style base. Designed by Alexander Girard and produced by Herman Miller. Leather is original and is one solid piece formed to the foam covered shell. Very rare to see this (usually seen with a stitch line joining a bottom and back piece). Condition is per photos. Leather has damage per photos. Foam is still intact and not deteriorating. Shell is in excellent condition. (1) bolt and rubber cushion has been replaced, original bolts can be found online for a decent price. Handling cost are for the packaging and insurance. $15 for box, foam walls, tape, etc. If shipping is too high and you are not interested in the legs, I can remove those to make the package smaller which may drastically reduce shipping cost.
