Description: This came from an audio collector and I had no idea what it was. I replaced the leaking power supply caps and used an LED for the pilot light. It is a boost only equalizer and judging from the turnover frequencies and boost range, it was designed to be used with a speaker system such as the Bose 901 that employ multiple small drivers. The build quality is very high end. I have used non factory eq on Bose 901 and have some experience. This equalizer combined with standard tone controls should do a nice job and have the advantage of being adjustable. It can be used with or without the heavy beautiful wood cabinet. The curves show flat and max boost. The analyzer was not intended for this use and the curves are not as smooth as they should be, the stepping effect is due to the 4db per unit shift. The available bass boost was over 30db in five steps, the treble boost was about 24db in five steps. This is very approximate but should give and idea of its range. The turnover frequencies are at 630hz and 2.5khz as shown on the analyzer. Buyer must judge suitability of intended purpose.
