The plate depicts a man asking for the lady's hand in marriage. It translates into Ewes the day before. The plate has no chipping with strong vibrant coloring with a very old hairline and antique wear (see images). It is signed and impressed on the bottom . The plate measures 8 1/4" in diameter and stands 7/8" tall. A very early transfer ware piece sure to be the highlight of any collection!
