Description: Early 19th Century Pittsburgh Hand Blown Cut Flint Glass Wine Glass Circa 1820 Nice early flint glass wine glass. Cut in the Pittsburgh strawberry diamond and fan pattern above cut panels. Has a knopped stem. Ground and polished pontiled base. Typical of the style attributed to manufacture at a Pittsburgh area glasshouse during the 1820s. Has a few small flakes to the cutting, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide x 4 1/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
