Rare piece. East Knoll pottery began in 1988 in Torrington, CT. From the East Knoll website:“East Knoll pottery reproduces historically correct, hand-thrown and hand-decorated yellow ware pottery. Yellow ware is an early style of pottery developed in England and Scotland in the 1600's, was most popular in the U.S. mid 1800's to 1930, but is still popular today. It is defined by the yellow clay body, with colored slip decorations under a clear lead-free glaze. We specialize in Mocha paterns which include; feather-seaweed, worm, cats eye, tabacco leaf and many others.
