Bluebird houses/nesting boxes are constructed out of wood from deconstructed dilapidated barns constructed with old-growth wood. Old-growth wood is weather-resilient and will withstand the elements. The slanted roof is covered with reclaimed barn steel to shed rain and provide shade. The floor contains drainage holes to insure proper ventilation and moisture accumulation prevention. The bluebird nest can be easily accessed from the front for cleaning and bird monitoring and the removable double floor makes nest cleaning easy. The exterior is tung-oiled to protect the wood. Tung oil is an eco-friendly natural product. Each bluebird house comes with instructions on where to place the bluebird nesting box, mounting instructions, and where the wood from each nesting box originated.
