Description: This is an 8" sterling silver salver footed tray made by English silversmith, Ebenezer Coker. It weighs 355 grams. I can't really make out the engraving at the bottom of the tray. Maybe "FP to FN". The story on this tray that I got from my mother is that it was sold for "The Fairing Family" who were descendants of Benjamin Rush - a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Cindy Day of Et Cetera Antiques in Salem, Oregon sold the tray to my mom. Cindy was a long-time antique dealer in Salem - and a dear friend of my mother. Please ask me any questions you might have - I can try to answer. Buyer to pay $25 priority mail shipping in the U.S. This includes insurance and signature upon delivery.
