Description: Framed set of three Shan-Merry signed Lithographs from the "Echos de Legende" series. #43 is signed and numbered 203/550, #14 is signed and numbered 255/550, and #12 is signed and numbered 263/550. They have been beautifully matted and framed together. Framed size 25.25"x12.25", each print is 7.5"x6". Shan-Merry began her artistic studies in 1957 at the Ecole Nationale Superior des Arts et Metiers, in Angers, France. By 1972 she was working as a professional fine artist and began exhibiting regularly in Paris and in the South of France in Provence, and in Cannes, Antibes, Grasse and other Mediterranean locations. By the 1990’s her works were included in prestigious international collections and exhibitions in Belgium, Germany, Japan and the United States. She has designed scarves for HERMES, published numerous books and catalogs, appeared in French television features, created illustrations for various periodicals and continues to create watercolors and limited edition graphic works. Among her important distinctions are: New York Watercolor Prize (1974) and Italian Academy “Gold Medal” Signature Prize (1979).
