Description: This is a letter, written to Edith Wharton. The contents are clearly romantic, and the author has taken steps to conceal their identity. While I am no expert on Edith Wharton's life and loves, I think this letter may be from W. Morton Fullerton. It is impossible to know for sure. The return address is under the name "William Shakespeare" c/o Bay View Brewery, Cheyenne Wyoming, and the letter is signed "Little Butterfly" Looking For His "Orange Blossom" The letter appears to be in answer to a letter from Edith to the author. He writes of her letter being scented, an invitation of some kind, and of Edith saving him a copy of her "illustrious work". The author of the letter references their "childhood days", and talks about how its been a long time since they'd seen each other, and may be a long time till they meet again. The envelope and letter are in fairly good condition. There is a small square section of paper that has been cut out of the letter. The envelope is soiled and worn, and one of the postage stamps is torn and coming loose. Please see all photos and consider them part of the description.
