Description: This listing is for Education in Infestation (2-CD Set, 1997) from Cthulu for AIDS / Deprogrammed Productions. This compilation is a mixture of previously released tracks and tracks made specifically for this release. The majority of the included tracks are either metal or spoken word, but there are also some songs from other genres of music. See the 12th and 13th Photos above for a breakdown of all tracks including info regarding whether they were previously released or not. A few highlights of the tracks that seem to have been made specifically for the release are: "Thoughts on the Death of a Princess" (Spoken Word) from Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde. "How to be Happy" (Spoken Word live transmission from New York recorded in Seattle) from Quentin Crisp (it is possible this was just a segment of his usual live show, but it was recorded live for this release) Six "radio" segments from The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence The inserts and CD labels feature artwork by Clive Barker, J.K. Potter, Joe Colman, Spider Webb, Dave McKean, H.R. Giger, and Alexander Michelle. Condition Details Disc 1 has a good number of scratches, almost all of them on one side of the disc. Disc 2 has maybe a handful of light scratches and looks MUCH better. I tested both CDs by playing them all the way through, and both played perfectly. On the off-chance you do have a playback problem with Disc 1, please let me know and I will give a partial refund based on severity. I do not expect this to come up, but am selling at this price in the understanding that these are in good working order. The booklet has creasing, general waviness, edge/fold wear, and just a little white surface wear in places (See Last Photo for example). All text clear and readable. Rear insert is in similar condition to the booklet. Case has scratches/scuffs and looks maybe a bit dusty–but has no cracks. In short, obviously used but the CDs play perfectly.
