The T3X rifle has an extra hole in the receiver that our rail covers up and does not use. This mount is available with a 0 or 20 MOA. We recommend: 0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards 20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards Our Tikka T3 mount is provided with standard 6-48 screws, as Tikkas produced after 2004 are drilled at tapped for 6-48 screws. Your gun may require metric screws. If you require metric screws, please select that option. We are happy to provide whichever size screws you need. Tikkas are known to have debris left in the screw hole, which may require the threaded holes be cleaned out using a bottoming tap. You can use the bottoming tap we have to clean out the threads before installing your screws. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW's one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. Add EGW's Practical or HD Scope Rings to make it a complete overhaul! We machine these in our shop using one of our USA-made Fadal machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability. The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately). Please note not all parts are "drop in". As with all gun parts some installations may require disassembly and reassembly.
