This breathtaking piece has vibrant deep rich colors and very nice centering. It does have grafitti (pen marks on the front and back). The corners are also very sharp. The purcahsing power back over 70 YEARS ago for 100 Pounds was incredible! The back features a small sailing vessel on the Nile with Ruins shown on the banks. This piece has had professional conservation; although, is not readily visible to the eye. A bright colored piece of a high denomination (the highest actually) for a very affordable price.
