Edited and published by Rafael Millan and illustrated by Martha Adams Zelt. The first 3 issues of Millan's short lived poetry journal which had a a 4th issue not included here. These copies uncut, printed in the first two issues on a single folio leaf folded into 12 pages. Third issue printed on two leaves, also uncut. Issues contain poems by Juan Alvarez Gato, Jorge Manrique, Manolo Fernandez Sanz. Joaquin Fernandez, Hans Leopold Davi, Luis Jimenez Martoz, and more. Born in the south of Spain, Millán fought against Franco in the Civil War and later wrote and published 15 books of poetry and short stories and edited this literary magazine while working in a printing shop in Madrid. In 1957 the political situation led Millán to move to Brazil for four years, and then to the U.S., living in Philadelphia until 1973 and then in the Boston area. Martha Adams Zelt from the Philadelphia area, illustrated each of these poetry magazines, The two were married in 1959 amd divorced in 1965. Quite rare, only one institution records copies held in their collection Some light toning. Minor wear to the crease folds. VG
