Description: For sale is ELLA FITZGERALD "Sings the Gershwin Songbook," on Verve V-4026, Mono, 1959. SOUND: N/AIt has been machine-cleaned but not play-tested. VINYL: VG+There is modest, routine handling/play wear on side B. Nothing serious. One little area with faint little marks in the last cut. I played that area on the turntable, it played cleanly and sounded perfect. Side A is a notch better, would be EX on its own. JACKET: NMThe gatefold jacket is in beautiful condition, solid and fairly sharp all-around. Clean and bright in and out. Spine is still stiff like new. "Promo" stamp inside, and one spot of black-marker on back. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. Buy-it-now for $18. Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
