Description: UP FOR AUCTION: Vintage 1932 CHINA MANCHUKUO EMPEROR PU YI & his first wife, EMPRESS WANRONG, in a US Newspaper Photograph from the 1932 New York Herald Tribune This is an original photo from the New York Herald Tribune Photogravure Section of early in 1932. It is a vintage, original, historic photo-article, printed sharply and looks great (see pics). It measures about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide. It is cut from an actual 1932 newspaper. The photo and caption concern Manchuria's newly inaugurated Dictator, former boy Emperor of China, who was in exile for 20 years (1912-1932) before this 1932 newspaper photo. He is shown with his first wife, Empress Gobulo Wanrong, when the photograph was taken. The photo has the statement: "Herald Tribune -- Acme" below the caption. I think it was a photograph distributed by "Acme" to the New York Herald Tribune. I cut this photo many years ago from an old New York Herald Tribune 1932 newspaper that was deteriorating. Good/Fair Condition: This photo is slightly torn on both sides, also: the caption has been taped to the bottom of the photo (the caption was originally located at the lower-right side of the photo; see the rounded tear in the pics), but it is a vintage, original, extremely historic photo-article, printed sharply and looks great (see pics). I will carefully pack and ship this item to the winning bidder. Please visit my other auctions. I will reduce combined shipping of multiple items. Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking! I try to describe my items well, but buyers may still need more information than I provide. Shipping costs can be expensive to my small auction business. Please ask any questions to be sure before you buy. Thanks.
