Addressed to “Mahatma Gandhi, Birla House, Delhi,” contains a postage stamp, postmarked on January 10, 1948, measures 4.75 by 3.625 inches, and in very good condition with toning, light staining and soiling, and tearing to the top border. One of the last items both handled and opened by the ‘Great-Souled One’ only two to three weeks before his assassination.
