King Lucille is inspired by the various Gibson ES models he played over the years (all of which were named "Lucille ) inspired the creation of this model. Gold hardware, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Graph Tech nuts, ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, brass truss rod cover with B.B. King's name engraved, headstock face Mother-of-pearl Lucille inlays on the headstock face, multi-layer binding on the body and headstock, TP-6 tailpiece with fine tuners, and a semi-hollow body with maple center block to reduce feedback. Unlike most semi-hollow body guitars, the top of the B.B. King Lucille has no f-holes. This is the same specification that B.B. King has requested on previous "Lucille models" to reduce feedback. The electronics are also top notch, with a 6-position Varitone switch, two Alnico Classic PRO humbucking pickups connected to CTS potentiometers, and stereo/mono output jacks.
